Marco Island Center for the Arts inspires artistic expression and advances education and appreciation of the arts. The Art Center honors Marco Island and Southwest Florida’s rich, diverse, and creative heritage through active community engagement in the visual and performing arts. Founded in 1970 the Art Center, located at 1010 Winterberry Drive, has been bringing art and culture to Marco for over 50 years. The Arts Center Theater (ACT), located in Marco Town Center on the north side of the island, was added in 2022. The Art Center ACT bring a variety of arts to the area including art exhibitions, music, theater, comedy, film, adult art education, free children’s workshops and events. Performances take place in both the Art Center’s art gallery and ACT. Both venues seat 80 people. The Art Center encourages an appreciation of the arts while promoting economic growth, collaboration, understanding of cultural diversity and community cohesion
