Since 1941, the Panama City Music Association has presented a monumental number of concerts featuring the top soloists, ensembles, symphonies, operas, Broadway musicals, dancers, and ethnic groups. The concerts have been the best the world has to offer.
PCMA is a volunteer organization operating as a not-for-profit 501(c) (3) organization. In addition to presenting hundreds of performances to thousands, the PCMA has aided and supported the varied musical interests of the community and has added richly to the cultural fabric of our area. Because of the generosity of our benefactors, over seventy students and adults who might not otherwise be able to attend enjoy each of our concerts.
An interesting fact is the Panama City Music Association presented their concerts in the Bay High auditorium long before the Marina Civic Center was built. The PCMA, the oldest presenter in the area , is also the only concert association who presents opera.
