Founded in 1959, the Centers for the Arts Bonita Springs is committed to enriching the culture of the Southwest Florida community by providing opportunities for artistic expression, education and appreciation. Centers are comprised of two campuses – each dedicated to the visual or performing arts. The 10-acre Center for Visual Arts campus features of multiple galleries, art library, gift store and multiple studios with classes that include painting, drawing, clay, glass, sculpture, digital arts and printmaking. The 4-acre Center for Performing Arts campus, hosts a variety of live performances in both the 400-seat Hinman Auditorium and 200-seat Moe Auditorium & Film Center. The Centers offer year-round programming available to the public and their 2,000+ members. Programs range from multidisciplinary art classes for all ages, exhibitions, film series, International Film Festival and three National Arts Festivals. The Film Festival is held in February and Arts Festivals are held each year, in January, February and March, and draw talented artists from all across the United States and the world. The Centers for the Arts Bonita Springs seeks to serve the educational, economic and cultural life of a diverse community; inviting creativity, discovery and learning through the visual and performing arts.
